There is just nothing like a taste of home; I don't know that there is anything sweeter to me. When Andrew's parents left from their visit, there was such a huge void and sadness I felt inside of me. We had such an awesome visit, Makinson style; plenty of good food and fun games, and lots of laughter. Marcail and Donovan both LOVED their Papa and Mimi!!! Of course : ) Here are some pics from our time together...

Truth
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Eating Out
All four of us went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner; that would be the FIRST time we have all gone out together at a "sit-down" restaurant, and I have to say, it was a lot of fun!! Andrew said later that it was the best time eating out that he could ever remember (including w/ out the children)!
The best part about Texas Roadhouse and messy kids, is that there are peanut shells aaaaallllllllllll over the floor anyways : ) Perfect.

As of Late...
It has just been so busy around here that blogging has been my last priority for sure. We had a fantastic trip to Vegas, where we set some new goals for ourselves that will impact our future. We are super excited about challenging ourselves and seeing results soon.
All of us are doing fantastic. Marcail and Donovan are both talking up a storm, and Andrew and I laugh to hear their conversations during their naptimes/bedtimes. They are so fun to play with, and most nights, we have been devoting time just playing with them.
Andrew finished with our HUGE Thorn production at church, and now he's back to his normal schedule, which is still pretty flexible from day-to-day.
I have been consumed with many things; everything from housework, to grocery shopping, to working at Church in the children's department, working out at the gym every day, and accomplishing goals every day that I mentioned above. Every night, I sit down at the calendar and write down a full list of everything I need to do the next day.... and boy, is it a full list!!! I am so thankful for a full life. Some people walk through life and wonder if it has meaning.... I have had times like that. But not now!
