PB & J

Why are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches regarded as the classic food for children? Here is what I get from my child every time he "eats" it :





Just look at this endearing jelly mustache and gotee.... He reminds me of a Spaniard : ) (You can almost imagine what he will look like at 25.)



It seems to me that this is adult food. I didn't show you any pictures of the pretty decorations on the floor : )

oh my! He is soooooo cute, Anneke! I love his hair - I can't wait until Henry gets messy like that - I'm going to freak out.

:) so cute! i know what you mean though - the family i nanny for - the youngest, lily, is 3 months behind van and she ALWAYS has pbj for lunches - always a treat for nanny tiffy.

Indeed he does looks cute with his mustache..
But do you really eat peanutbutter and jelly on one sandwich?! ieeuw!! That must be an american thing... never heard of it :)

Yes, that is how we eat it over here... you should try it at least once. It is quite delicious!!

mmm, well maybe when i'm in a very crazy mood i will :) we do eat strange things also, like peanutbutter with chocolatepaste on top, or gouda cheese (yiu must still know that?) with strawberry jelly.. i do like that :)

That is fantastic! I keep hoping that our girls will develop a love for pb & j... maybe it's good that they don't like it yet :)
