Uncle Wilbur

In downtown Colorado Springs is a fabulous water fountain, endearingly named Uncle Wilbur, where at almost any point during the summer, you will find very busy little children drenched from their playtime. Unfortunately, we have not introduced Marcail and Donovan to this Uncle until last week.... which meant that even though I had pictured in my mind them having the time of their life playing there, they did not have the same idea : ) You will see from the pictures that they were very wary of the fountains, and were perfectly content to stand on the perimeter and watch other children get wet. Both Andrew and I attempted to coax them into the water; but their bathing suits remained perfectly dry. I think they need a little more association with Uncle Wilbur before they will feel comfortable engaging in this activity!

Candace met us for lunch at a Mediterranean cafe downtown. Yum! She was our tour guide for the afternoon : )

These pics are great! I just took my nanny kiddos to a little kids waterpark. (like a tiny tiny version of waterworld) up here in Denver. They had all these squirting fountains and it was hilarious to watch their reactions to it! Maybe you could bring the kids up here one day and we could try coaxing them into that?? :)

That would be super fun! Do you happen to have guest passes? (if its ticketed, I mean)
